Strength training uses resistance to build muscles and help your body become stronger, leaner and healthier. When done properly significant gains can be made, not only in your physical strength and overall appearance but also in your health and well-being. Sessions usually involve incremental weight increases and exercises that target specific muscle groups.

We also make sure the classes are structured in a way that allows you to join at any time and increase intensity as you improve. The class structure may vary slightly depending on who is leading the class, but generally, it will have the following format:

  • Warm-up
  • A sequence or various movements and lifts

  • Cool-down

What equipment will I use?

The classes take place in the gym studio and will usually involve the use of weight plates, kettlebells, barbells, and body weight/resistance.

When are the classes?
