GRIT Strength

GRIT Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. GRIT Strength takes cutting edge HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.

GRIT Plyo is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) plyometric-based workout, designed to make you perform like an athlete. This workout uses a bench and combines explosive jumping exercises with agility training to increase explosiveness and to build a lean and athletic body. Grit Cardio

What to expect at a Les Mills class

You’ll be guided every step of the way with expert leadership from the instructors. You will enjoy well-ventilated and spacious studios, large enough to accommodate everyone who would like to join. That said, we aim to keep classes small enough to make sure everyone gets individual attention from the instructor, so try to arrive at least 10 minutes before the class to secure your place. We also make sure the classes are structured in a way that allows you to join at any time and increase intensity as you improve.

The structure may vary slightly depending on which class you’re attending, but generally, they include a warm-up, sequence of lifts, movements and repetition and a cool down.

All Viva Gym timetables can be found here, currently many of our gyms host at least one Les Mills class a week at no extra cost, though frequency and time vary per gym.
