It is never easy to join a new gym class, no matter what anyone says. You never quite know what is done in them, how many people will be there, who the people will be in there, if you’re look like a fool and so on. In light of that, we have decided to assist you with these kind of life-altering decisions by giving you a little break down on the classes that are offered at Viva Gym, what they are and how they benefit you.

Zumba

Zumba is an aerobic-styled class that combines Latin music with easy dance moves, as they incorporate interval training with resistance training. The benefits of this in terms of fitness is that you will be on your feet dancing the whole class, burning on average about 370 calories per class. It’s lots of fun and you will really relish the physical challenge at the same time.

Pilates

This is a form of exercise that builds your body’s core strength and posture. Pilates focuses on the principles of alignment, precision breathing and flow. Benefits include the strengthening of core stability, posture and balance, flexibility and the treatment of back ailments.

Spinning

Spinning involves riding a stationery bike through a series of sprints, hill climbs and level roads as you make your way through your ‘course’. You are in control of how hard you want to go, although you are encouraged to keep in time with the music, but ultimately it is up to you. Viva Gym even has a big screen for your own virtually guided classes to make the experience even more epic. Benefits are pretty clear: excellent cardio work out, builds strength and it’s easy to pick up.

So those are a few of the classes available at Viva Gym that you can now go and try out. It really is one of the best ways to train and keep you excited for your next training session. We will leave you with one last thought before we see you at our next class. Leave your pride at the door and get involved as passionately as you can, because in the end, we’re all there for the same outcome. To have fun and get healthy at the same time.
